(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Two citations have been issued to a horse owner who allegedly neglected her horses on property near Idaho Falls. Sharon Wilson was given two misdemeanor charges for allowing her animals to go without care. More than two dozen horses on the property were found dead or nearly starved, prompting several local residents to notify authorities. The citations carry a $5,000 fine and up to a year in jail. State officials will issue a report once their investigation is complete.
