Clerk Charged With Grand Theft

(POCATELLO, ID) – A Maverik Store employee has been charged with felony grand theft for allegedly stealing from the business. Pocatello Police say 56-year-old Kim Stratton took more than $1,000 from the Maverik on the 2100 block of East Center. The store manager reportedly saw Stratton putting money in her pocket and her purse, which prompted an investigation. Officials used surveillance footage to link Stratton to the missing cash. Stratton, who was arrested Tuesday, remains in the Bannock County Jail without bond
