Cornerback Cary Williams Joins Eagles
Published at(PHILADELPHIA) — Cornerback Cary Williams agreed to a three-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday.
According to sources of ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the deal is worth $17 million, with $10 million guaranteed.
The 28-year-old Williams has been in the NFL five seasons and has played the last 3 1/2 with the Baltimore Ravens.
Williams, who is 6-foot-1, started every game for the Ravens over the past two seasons. During the Ravens’ Super Bowl run last season, Williams had 27 tackles and two interceptions.
Williams joins Kenny Phillips, Bradley Fletcher and Patrick Chung as new members of the Eagles secondary.
