ABC 31513 DWTSCast? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1364199023653ABC/Rick Rowell(NEW YORK) — The second week of the new season of Dancing with the Stars begins Monday night on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time. Each of the 12 couples will perform a jive, quickstep or jazz routine.

Comedian D.L. Hughley flopped in his ballroom debut last week, earning the lowest score of the night. For his second dance, he and pro partner Cheryl Burke will attempt the quickstep. He tells ABC News, “I’m going to work harder, and…I guess I have to get eBay to get me some new hips. But the great thing about the next dance I’m doing, I don’t need hips.”

Andy Dick and his partner, Sharna Burgess, found themselves near the bottom of the leader board on the season premiere. Burgess thinks their first dance, a foxtrot, was a little too stuffy for Dick. She said, “I’m going to allow Andy to have some of his creative freedom in the comedy aspect of the number, because we went so dapper in the tails and top hat and I think now we gotta switch it up and show everybody that funny side of Andy, maybe that twisted side.”

Wynonna Judd enters Monday night’s round with concerns about her planned quickstep with partner Tony Dovolani. She says she has to be able to trust him to lead her on the dance floor.

Jacoby Jones, who was in the middle of the pack on the leader board last week, is looking to improve in other areas. The Super Bowl winner recently told ABC News, “Probably work on my posture and my toe pointing. That’s the main thing they want us to do, so I gotta work on that.”

The first elimination of the season will take place this Tuesday night.
