Danny Granger To Have Season-Ending Knee Surgery
Published at(INDIANAPOLIS) — Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger will undergo left knee surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the season, the team announced Thursday.
The 29-year-old Granger has been limited to just five games this season, averaging 5.4 ppg in those contests.
Granger underwent a procedure for patellar tendinosis in October and was sidelined until late last month. Constant pain forced the Pacers to shut him down a few days later. He is expected to be ready for the start of next season.
The Pacers are currently battling the New York Knicks for the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
