Devils’ Brodeur Returns To Practice
Published at(NEWARK, N.J.,) — New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur returned to practice on Monday for the first time in nearly a month after sitting out with various injuries.
The NHL’s winningest goaltender has missed 12 games with a pinched nerve in his neck and upper back.
“It’s definitely the best I have felt on the ice so far,” Brodeur said after practice. “We’ll see how my body reacts and we’ll go from there. I don’t expect nothing to change. I’ll skate in the morning but I don’t think I’ll be playing, that’s for sure.”
It is not yet known when Brodeur can return to game action. He last played on February 21.
Broduer has a record of 8-2-3 in 13 starts this season.
