Reed is an unrestricted free agent, and can sign with any team he wants. Reed told the NFL Network that even though he hasn’t heard from the team yet, he’s hoping to continue his career in Baltimore.

“I haven’t spoken to anyone. Hopefully that call comes soon,” Reed said. “I’m a Raven, I plan on being a Raven, I couldn’t see my anywhere else right now.”

With the loss of linebacker Ray Lewis, the Ravens would greatly benefit in keeping Reed. In 11 seasons with the team, Reed has established himself as one of the best safeties of the past decade. He’s accumulated 61 interceptions since his rookie year, which ranks 10th all time in NFL history.

Now that the team has resigned quarterback Joe Flacco, the team will look to re-sign their defensive free agents, but it is unknown if the team will bring Reed back.
