(NEW YORK) — After a delay of about 10 months, G.I. Joe: Retaliation hits theaters on Thursday.
The sequel to 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was originally scheduled to debut in June 2012, but at virtually the last minute, its release was pushed back because Paramount Pictures announced at the time it wanted to convert the film to 3D.
In the new G.I. Joe film, Channing Tatum and Dwayne Johnson are among the good guys, who not only have to battle the villainous COBRA organization, but also a potential imposter in the White House.
Bruce Willis and Adrianne Palicki also star in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which is rated PG-13.
