(BOISE, ID) — The average price of a gallon of gasoline is expected to go down in the next few weeks. Experts say the state average currently sits at $3.44 per gallon, about three cents lower than the average just a year ago. They say that’s a sign that prices are beginning to stabilize and follow projected seasonal trends. The average is expected to drop in most areas of the Intermountain West as wholesale gasoline prices take a dip. The national average is currently $3.70 per gallon.
