“Harry Potter” Actor Richard Griffiths Dies at 65

Ian Gavan/Getty Images(LONDON) — Harry Potter actor Richard Griffiths has died, according to British media reports.
Griffiths was a U.K. film, TV and theatre star, but is likely best-known to American audiences for his role as Harry Potter’s blustering Uncle Vernon in the Harry Potter film series.
In 2007, he also co-starred with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in a stage production of the play Equus.
Griffiths died Thursday after undergoing heart surgery. He was 65.
