Hugh Hefner Estimates He’s Slept with More than 1,000 Women

Denise Truscello/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — It’s no secret that Hugh Hefner is a ladies’ man. But how many women has the Playboy founder slept with through the years? Not even the man himself knows.
Hef addresses the matter in an interview with Esquire magazine, saying, “How could I possibly know?” He adds, “Over a thousand, I’m sure. There were chunks of my life when I was married, and when I was married I never cheated. But I made up for it when I wasn’t married. You have to keep your hand in.”
Hefner has been married three times, including his current union with the 26-year-old Crystal Harris. They tied the knot at the Playboy Mansion this past New Year’s Eve.
Regarding his current marriage, the 86-year-old Hefner comments, “All our friends think it’s made in heaven. It’s only people who don’t know us, who simply see us as stereotypes in terms of age and beauty. …I just feel very, very fortunate to have found her at this stage in my life. I saved the best till last.”
