(BOISE, ID) – The total personal income of Idaho households has exceeded pre-recession levels. The state’s total personal income topped $53.8 billion. The Gem State saw a 2.1 percent increase in personal income during the final quarter of 2012, the 14th highest increase in the nation. Still, Idaho ranks 49th in the nation for per capita income. Labor officials say the state’s business profits went up 6.6 percent in 2012, while wages and salaries increased 1.9 percent.
