On March 1, Bieber tweeted that he had a “big night ahead,” but hours later, the pop star admitted to his followers that it was his “worst birthday.”

The birthday boy’s festivities were held at London’s Cirque du Soir club. According to E! News, star guests included British singer Ella-Paige Roberts Clark and actor/rapper Jaden Smith.

A source told E! that all were asked to leave after an argument ensued between Bieber’s entourage and the club’s security. After the incident, Bieber went straight back to his hotel.

While the cause of the argument is not known, Bieber’s friend Ryan Butler tweeted, “This is unbelievable. Can’t even have fun on his birthday.”

#BeliebersHatePaparazzi was trending on Twitter following Bieber’s tweet, with many fans blaming Bieber’s ever present paparazzi for his birthday woes.

In spite of Friday night’s drama, Bieber did thank his more than 35 million followers for their birthday wishes.
