Justin Bieber Rants on Instagram About Media ‘Lies’
(NEW YORK) -- Justin Bieber's mad as hell, and he isn't going to take any more. In a post on Instagram, the singer railed against the "countless lies" about him in the media, and declared, "I don't think I deserve all this negative press." He also made some comments about Lindsay Lohan, but later deleted them, according to E! Online.
"Everyone in my team has been telling me, 'keep the press happy' but I'm tired of all the countless lies in the press right now, saying I'm going to rehab and how my family is disappointed in me," writes Justin in his post. He argued, "My family is beyond proud, and nothing's been said by them, my grandparents wouldn't know how to reach to press even of they did want to so that was a lie."
As for rehab, Justin writes, "C'mon. if Anyone believes i need rehab that's their own stupidity lol. I'm 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I've seen the whole world. 19 and I've accomplished more than I could've ever dreamed of." He added, "I know my talent level and i know i got my head on straight. i know who i am and i know who i'm not."
The singer goes on to say, "My message is to believe...I honestly don't care if you don't believe in me because I believe in me, my friends believe, my family believe, my fans believe, and look where that's gotten me so far."
Noting that he was writing with "a smile on my face and love in my heart," Justin adds that he wants to let his fans "know first hand how I feel rather than have these stories linger." He writes, "I'm a good person with a big heart. And don't think I deserve all this negative press I've worked my ass off to get where I am and my hard work doesn't stop here."
Justin admits, "All this isn't easy. I get angry sometimes. I'm human. I'm gonna make mistakes. In gonna grow and get better from them. But all the love from you guys overcomes the negativity. I love u."
As for the Lohan comments, E! Online reports that Justin took issue with recent reports saying that he's some kind of out-of-control wild child, and comparing him to the actress. According to E!, Justin said he shouldn't be compared to Lohan by suggesting that "look at her 2012 tax statements ;)." We assume that's a reference to Lohan's recent money troubles. Justin, of course, has no such problems, earning some $55 million last year.
Justin has since offered a mea culpa for the Lindsay comment, telling E! News, "My post was only up for a few minutes but I realized right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say."
Be that as it may, sources tell TMZ that Lindsay is really upset with Justin, believing his comment was "senseless and mean." She allegedly also thinks that "karma" will exact retribution on Justin.
