Kansas Rolls Over West Virginia 91-65

Getty S 030213 Kansas?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1362262557822Jamie Squire/Getty Images(LAWRENCE, KS) — Ben McLemore scored a Kansas freshman record 36 points to lead No. 6 Kansas (25-4, 13-3 Big 12), to a 91-65 thrashing of the West Virginia Mountaineers, at Allen Fieldhouse Saturday.

Center Jeff Withey contributed 14 points, 10 rebounds and nine blocks, finishing just one block shy of a triple-double.

McLemore shot an astounding 80% from the field, making 12-of-15 shots.  He added seven rebounds and four assists to give the Jayhawks their 25th win of the season.

With the win, the Jayhawks are now tied with No. 13 Kansas State for first place in the Big 12.  Kansas State knocked off Baylor Saturday night.

Terry Henderson led the Mountaineers (13-16, 6-10), with 20 points.
