Denny Hamlin was airlifted to a hospital after the race.  Hamlin and Joey Logano were involved in a crash during the final lap.  Tony Stewart and Logano’s team got into a scuffle at pit road.  Logano blocked Stewart during the final restart.

“They forgot about me. I knew they were going to,” said Busch, who led 125 laps. “We had a good run on the top side, and they were messing with each other so bad that they took each other down. I was just hoping I could get by before they took me with him.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second, followed by Kyle’s brother, Kurt, in third.  Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle rounded out the top five.  Logano finished in sixth.

Stewart was not happy with Logano’s actions after the race.

“It’s time he learns a lesson,” Stewart said. “He’s run his mouth long enough….He’s nothing but a little rich kid that’s never had to work in his life, so he’s going to learn what us working guys who had to work our way up (know about) how it works.”

Joe Gibbs Racing president J.D. Gibbs said after the race that Hamlin “will be OK.”

Earnhardt Jr. leads the points standings after the second-place finish.
