Kyle Busch Wins Nationwide Series Dollar General 200
Published at(PHOENIX) — Kyle Busch put on a dominating performance Saturday, leading for 142 laps to win the NASCAR Nationwide Series Dollar General 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Brad Keselowski came in second while Justin Allgaier, Trevor Bayne and Elliott Sadler rounded out the top five.
It was Busch’s 52nd Nationwide Series victory, but his first in almost 18 months. He eclipsed 11,000 career laps in the race and has now won seven times at Phoenix.
There was a six-car crash on the fourth lap and 38 of the 200 laps were under caution, but there were no injuries this week.
Daytona 500 winner Jimmie Johnson finished 12th.
The next Nationwide Series race is set to take place on Saturday March 9 in Las Vegas.
