Man Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charge

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — An Idaho Falls man has pleaded guilty to possessing hundreds of sexual explicit images of minors. Federal officials began investigating 50-year-old James Brown in 2011 when they learned that Brown’s corporate email account had been used to send child pornography to another person. Brown was employed at On Semiconductor at the time, and was promptly fired after an internal investigation. Brown could spend up to 10 years in prison and pay a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is set for June 17.
