(CHICAGO) — The Chicago Bears agreed to a four-year deal with tight end Martellus Bennett, the team announced Tuesday.
The financial terms of the deal are not yet known.
Bennett played last season for the New York Giants, posting career bests in catches (55), touchdowns (5) and receiving yards (626).
Bennett, 26, played his first four NFL seasons for the Dallas Cowboys, who selected him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-6, 250 pound Bennett has caught 140 balls, for 1,472 yards and nine touchdowns during his five-year career.
