(NEW YORK) — The new ABC drama Red Widow premieres Sunday night with a two-hour episode.
Silent Hill actress Radha Mitchell plays a California woman, Marta, who has a complicated family life. Her father is a Russian gangster in San Francisco, and her husband, Evan, exports marijuana.
Marta’s world is turned upside down when Evan is murdered. She soon finds out that Evan’s business partners were involved in the theft of cocaine from a crime boss, who believes Marta needs to pay for her husband’s connection to the scheme.
Meanwhile, the FBI seeks Marta’s cooperation during its investigation of Evan’s murder.
The series premiere of Red Widow airs at 9 p.m. Eastern time. The show will move to its normal 10 p.m. time slot the following week.
