Corey Brewer hit three free throws with 2.1 seconds remaining to lift the Denver Nuggets to their 14th straight win, 101-100 over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Down by two with 7.1 seconds left, Philadelphia’s Evan Turner went to the free throw line but missed two shots. Then Brewer attempted a three but was fouled by Damien Wilkins.

After the free throws put Denver (48-22) ahead, the 76ers had one last chance but Wilkin’s jumper was blocked by Anthony Randolph to end it. “It’s crazy. To be honest, I didn’t think we had any chance of winning,” Brewer said. “Then he missed those free throws and I was like, ‘OK, we’ve got a little chance.’ He gave us life.”

The 14 straight wins continues the longest win streak in the Nugget’s NBA history.

Philadelphia (26-42) has lost two in a row on their four game West Coast trip.
