(BOISE, ID)  —  A state measure that would allow betting on historical horse racing at three Idaho tracks has been approved in the House. Supporters say it would help save the horse racing industry and increase revenue for the state. Spectators at tracks in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, and Idaho Falls would be allowed to wager on unidentified past races via terminals. Opponents say there’s no reason to expand gambling in the state. The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.
