Small Tremor Rattles Star Valley

(AFTON, WY)  —  A small earthquake rattled portions of southeast Idaho and western Wyoming Friday. The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the magnitude 4.0 tremor had an epicenter 13 miles southwest of Afton, Wyo. and about 70 miles southeast of Pocatello. Emergency officials had no calls related to the incident, though there were a few reports of picture frames and other items being moved. The quake was centered almost three miles beneath the earth’s surface.
