(PALM HARBOR, Fla.) — Kevin Streelman finally won on the PGA Tour.
Streelman won the Tampa Bay Championship on Sunday to capture his first PGA Tour victory after 153 starts.
He shot 67 on his final round to beat out Boo Weekley. Cameron Tringale finished third, while Luke Donald finished in a tie for fourth.
“Always had a dream of getting here,” Streelman said. “And so to get this is the culmination of a lot of hard work and a lot of time spent late into the evening, and getting up early in the morning. And it’s really a dream come true.”
He was able to coast to the victory after not making a bogey over his final 37 holes.
Streelman earned a trip to the Masters next month for his efforts.
