(PHOENIX) — Phoenix Suns center Marcin Gortat will miss at least 3-4 weeks after an MRI revealed Gortat has a sprained right foot, the team announced Thursday.
With that timetable, it is possible Gortat could return for a couple games at the end of the season, but Gortat isn’t so sure he’ll be back.
“It looks like it’s more like the season than three weeks,” Gortat said to Suns.com. “Because after the three weeks there is going to be another week of treatment before I’m going to get back into condition and everything. Then the season is going to be over.”
The 29-year-old Gortat has averaged 11.1 points, 8.5 boards and 1.6 blocks per game this season.
