Wisconsin Knocks Off No. 3 Indiana In Big Ten Semifinals
Published at(CHICAGO) — Ryan Evans led the way with 16 points as No. 22 Wisconsin stunned No. 3 Indiana 68-56 in the Big Ten tournament semifinals on Saturday.
Guard Ben Brust scored 12 points for Wisconsin (23-10), who has won three-straight games.
The Hoosiers (27-6) won the Big Ten regular-season title and now have to wait until selection sunday to see if they’ve still earned a No.1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
“Obviously we wanted to get this win today,” Zeller said, who led Indiana with 13 points and 11 rebounds. “We’ll learn from it, we’ll figure out what we did wrong. We’ll make the corrections and be ready for next week.”
Victor Oladipo scored 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
The Badgers will play No. 10 Ohio State in the Big Ten tournament final on Sunday.
