American Idol Live! 2013 Tour Dates Announced

SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1366332788648Fox(LOS ANGELES) — The 2013 American Idol Live! tour dates have been announced.  Finalists from season 12 of American Idol will be joined by a finalist from season 11 on this year’s trek.  The 40-show outing kicks off on June 29 in St. Louis, MO with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami, among other cities, before wrapping up in Nashville on August 31.

Season 12 finalists on hand include Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Burnell Taylor, Candice Glover, Curtis Finch Jr., Devin Velez, Janelle Arthur, Kree Harrison, Lazaro Arbos and Paul Jolley.  They will be joined by finalist Aubrey Cleland, who missed making the top ten, but who was subsequently voted onto the tour by the viewers.

Tickets go on sale at AEGlive.com and AmericanIdol.com/tour at 10 a.m. local time on May 3.  For every tour ticket purchased, American Idol Live! will donate $1 to the Melanoma Research Alliance which funds research to help cure melanoma, a skin disease ranked among the fastest growing cancers.
