Ammon Man Arrested for Battery

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Ammon man was arrested early Sunday on aggravated battery charges. Idaho Falls police say 26-year-old Michael Perez allegedly punched a 30-year-old man in the face. A witness to the incident contacted police in the area of Broadway and Shoup avenues, claiming her friend had been attacked by Perez in a parking lot. The victim was later able to identify Perez as the suspect. He remains in the Bonneville County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
