(NEW YORK) — Growing dissatisfaction among airline passengers is apparently translating into good news for Amtrak. The railroad says more people rode their trains last month than ever before.
Amtrak says individual monthly records were also set in October, December, and January.
And ridership actually grew nearly 1 percent from last October, despite massive disruptions from superstorm Sandy.
