Buccaneers Introduce Darrelle Revis
Published at(TAMPA) — After months of speculation, Darrelle Revis is now a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. Revis was traded to Tampa from the New York Jets late Sunday night.
Revis received a six-year deal worth $96-million, with no guaranteed money.
“I’m going to do my best, that’s how I work,” Revis said Monday. “I’m going to bring as much leadership as I can to this team. This biggest goal I think we all have here is to win.”
“This was a great move on my part to come be a part of this organization,” Revis continued.
Revis is still recovering from torn ACL surgery, but is not worried about having to prove something to his former team. “I know my expectations as a player and that’s that,” Revis said.
The Buccaneers traded their 13th overall first-round pick and a conditional fourth-round choice in 2014 for Revis.
