(CLEVELAND) — Despite some talented young pieces, the Cleveland Cavaliers are heading towards another disappointing finish. Rumors are flying about the future of head coach Byron Scott, and point guard Kyrie Irving won’t discuss the matter.
“Until that time comes, I’m not really worried about it,” Irving said. “To even imagine that, I’m not going down that road. I’m focused on finishing the season with him and that’s all that matters right now.”
The team has dealt with a variety of injuries this season. Irving, Anderson Varejao, and Dion Waiters are among players who have missed significant time.
Scott is in his third season as the Cavaliers head coach. During that time he’s gone 64-160.
