Many believe Klein has a better chance in succeeding in the NFL if he changed positions. Still, Klein has been adamant in his desires to remain a quarterback.

“In my heart, I know I can do it,” Klein told the Kansas City Star. “That’s the position I love to play. Until that door closes, I’m going to walk through it. I have the work ethic and all the physical tools to do it. I was very fortunate to have good coaches at K-State. I feel very well equipped.”

During his senior season at Kansas State, Klein was a Heisman Trophy favorite at one point as he threw for 2,641 yards with 16 touchdowns through the air, and also ran for 920 yards while scoring 23 touchdowns on the ground.

Klein has been compared to Tim Tebow as far as how his skills would translate to the NFL level.

The NFL Draft begins on April 25.
