El Paso County Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Kramer confirmed to ABC News that James Franklin Lohr, 47, was arrested early Friday morning.  Lohr is currently in the custody of Colorado Springs Police.

The other wanted man, Thomas James Guolee, 31, remains at large.

On Wednesday, Kramer told ABC News that both men are considered armed and dangerous and are known associates of the 211 Crew, a white supremacist prison gang.

Ebel, who was released from prison in January, was also a member of the 211 Crew.  He is suspected of murdering Domino’s pizza driver Nathan Leon on March 17, and Colorado prisons chief Tom Clements on March 19.  Ebel was killed on March 21 during a shootout with authorities in Texas.

According to two law enforcement sources not allowed to speak publicly about the investigation, authorities believe Lohr and Guolee were in “frequent contact” with Ebel by phone, including just 24 to 48 hours before Clements was gunned down at the front door of his home in Monument, Colo.

An alert was broadcast to police officers Wednesday night to be on the lookout for Lohr and Guolee, who both have extensive criminal records, according to court documents.  The alert said Goulee was last seen in Colorado Springs.
