Published at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man and his son are on a crusade to end the ban on gay leadership in the Boy Scouts of America. Dave and Joe McGrath both have a history in scouting, and feel strongly that the ban should end to honor their family members, some of whom are gay. The McGraths will start an 1,800-mile bike ride to raise awareness and support, eventually stopping at the BSA’s headquarters in Irving, Texas. The pair will set out from the Snake River Landing at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 3.
