(WASHINGTON) — Nationwide gas prices are continuing their downward trend. They have gone down about one cent, to $3.54 per gallon of regular unleaded gas in the past week, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. Some areas, however, have seen even bigger declines.
Prices in California dropped six cents, now at $3.94 a gallon for regular unleaded. Just a few weeks ago prices in the state were well over four bucks.
Massachusetts, Minnesota and New York have all seen declines of six to seven cents in the past week.
