Heart Disease: Bald Men Face Greater Risk, Study Claims

Getty 040413 BaldMan?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1365096905943Digital Vision/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — A review of studies looking into a link between hair loss and heart problems found men who lost hair from the top of their heads, were more likely to develop heart disease.

Those with receding hairlines had no higher risk.  

The findings were published in the online journal BMJ Open.

Other medical experts warn men concerned about their hearts should worry more about their waistlines than their hairlines.
