Heat Burn Bucks to Take Control of Series

Getty S 042413 %20Heat%20vs%20Bucks?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1366786275295Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images(MIAMI) —  Dwayne Wade and LeBron James combined to score 40 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 98-86 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round series.

With the score 68-65 entering the fourth quarter, the Heat went on a 12-0 run that put the game away for good.

“We held court,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “We protected it for two games. We did what we’re supposed to do. And that’s it.”

Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis were held to just 15 points for the Bucks.  They were led by Mike Dunleavy’s 16.

“We showed a lot of improvement tonight,” said Jennings. “Aside of making that run in the fourth I think we should have won this game.”

LeBron James is 10-0 in previous series when his team takes a 2-0 lead.

Game 3 is Thursday night im Milwaukee.
