Idaho Falls Man Arrested on Kidnapping Charges

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Idaho Falls Police have arrested 46-year-old Dean Patrick Oe for second-degree kidnapping after he allegedly held a woman against her will in a motel room Tuesday night. According to reports, officers were notified of a possible kidnapping around 6:30 p.m. Officers found the suspect, with a 19-year-old woman at the Motel 6, located in the 14-hundred block of W. Broadway St. The woman told police she was forced into a pick-up truck by Oe and taken against her will to the motel. While at the motel she sent text messages to an acquaintance asking for help. Oe of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
That person notified police.
