(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Idaho Falls School District 91 is one of several districts across the state struggling to make ends meet. Administrators tell KIDK that the district will have to make cuts of up to $4 million for the next school year. Superintendent George Boland says it’s the third major reduction in spending the district has made in the last five years. Though state lawmakers approved a 2.2 percent increase in education spending, the funds will be used to enhance professional development and technology.
