It’s Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s

Ben & Jerry’s is celebrating its 34th annual Free Cone Day with a free scoop for customers from noon to 8 p.m. The chain plans to serve more than 1 million cones Tuesday around the world.
More than 3,000 people have already tweeted with excitement for free ice cream.
“I’m choosing @benandjerrys Cookie Dough on #FreeConeDay! http://benjerry.com #CookieDough,” one fan tweeted. Others are being encouraged to use the #freeconeday hashtag.
Ice cream lovers can choose new flavors like Candy Bar Pie with peanut butter ice cream and fudge flakes, or classics like Chunky Monkey with banana ice cream and walnuts.
