(RIGBY, ID) – Jefferson County is getting a new district judge.   Idaho lawmakers voted to add five new district judges across the state, one of which will be chambered in the 7th District. Judge Greg Moeller says that the district is already overwhelmed with case loads. He says that adding a new district judge in eastern Idaho will help speed up the judicial process and give other judges more flexibility. The new position will come with an annual salary of nearly $115,000. Officials hope to have the new seat filled by October 1.
