Jefferson County Teen Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

(RIGBY, ID) — A Jefferson County teen was hospitalized Thursday night following a motorcycle crash Thursday night.  Investigators say the 16-year-old boy sustained severe head injuries and multiple bone fractures when his motorcycle was hit by a car along State Highway 48 at around 6:30 p.m. The teen reportedly failed to yield as he pulled out of a driveway and into the path of a car headed northbound. The boy was airlifted to EIRMC in critical condition. Officials say the teen was not wearing a helmet.
