Jim Leonhard Agrees to Deal with Saints

(NEW ORLEANS) -- The New Orleans Saints agreed to a one-year contract with safety Jim Leonhard, the team announced Monday.
Leonhard, 30, played in 17 games (includes postseason) last season for the Denver Broncos, recording 20 tackles, two interceptions and three passes defended.
"I got the okay from my agent," Leonhard tweeted. "New year, new opportunity. We are glad to be joining the New Orleans Saints."
The 5-foot-8 Leonhard has played for the Bills, Ravens, Jets and Broncos throughout his eight season NFL career. During that time he has accumulated 344 tackles, eight interceptions, 3.5 sacks and 27 passes defended.
