Job Search Requirements to be Enforced

(POCATELLO, ID) — The Idaho Department of Labor has announced that it will reinforce the 12-week call-back period for laid off workers looking for employment. From now on, those claiming unemployment benefits will have to return with work within 12 weeks of their layoff or hours reduction. Officials say that if claimants don’t find employment within the 12-week time frame, they’ll have to look for new full time work to remain eligible for benefits.
