(NEW YORK) — Bad news, golf fans: That dream of attending this week’s Masters in Augusta, Georgia, is getting expensive. Ticket badges on the resale market are going for more than $7,000.
Why so high? Blame Tiger Woods. His re-emergence, coupled with the tournament’s close proximity to college basketball’s Final Four, which was held in Atlanta, is fueling the sky-high prices.
Tuesday’s practice round tickets, valued at $50, are going for nearly $1,000.
