Name Released for Armed Man

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Idaho Falls Police have released the name of a man who prompted a reverse-911 call early Sunday morning. Investigators say Andrew Ellis allegedly threw beer bottles at the front door of a home on the 1300 block of Washburn before unlawfully entering the residence. Ellis, who was armed, reportedly threatened that he was going to shoot someone. He was arrested about an hour later at the intersection of Olympia and Washburn. Officials say Ellis did not have a gun when he was taken into custody.
