Pit Bulls in Rough Shape
Published at
( MALAD , ID ) – Officials with the Idaho Humane Society say that more than 60 pit bulls that were removed from a ranch in Oneida County are in pretty rough shape. The animals came from a dog fighting compound in Holbrook that was the scene of a triple homicide last week. Investigators say many of the dogs are in bad condition with open wounds and are malnourished, though the majority were very friendly with handlers. The group isn’t seeking any foster homes for the animals at this time, but donations to help with veterinary care can be made at idahohumanesociety.org.
