Rexburg Mayor and City Council Getting Raises


(REXBURG, ID) — Rexburg Mayor Richard Woodland and the city council are getting pay raises. Woodland’s full-time annual salary will be raised from $59,000 to more than $67,000, while council members’ wages will be nearly doubled from $4,800 to $7,200. The raises, which are the first for the city since 2008, will need to pass a council vote two more times in order to be finalized.
