Rigby Woman Celebrates Organ Donation Month

(RIGBY, ID) – A Rigby woman his speaking out to promote organ donation. Gail Brown says that she wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for a lung transplant she received. April is Organ Donor Month, and around 400 Idahoans are currently waiting for an organ transplant. Officials say as many as 30 of those waiting are children. The Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles estimates that around 75 percent of those renewing their driver’s licenses agree to become a donor.
