Lin sat out during the second half of Game 2 due to muscle contusion in his chest.

“It’s easily the most frustrating thing that has happened this entire season,” said Lin. “I’ve been healthy, and then the second half of a playoff game on the road where we’re playing well in Game 2.”

Lin does not know how the injury occurred and played all 82 games during his first season in Houston.

“It was fine as I was sitting here at halftime. I tried to run out of the tunnel and couldn’t really run. When I did, it would go crazy. We’re supposed to just see what happens tomorrow, how it feels tomorrow. As long as stuff stops spasming, I’m good. I don’t know how any of this stuff works,” he said, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The Rockets erased a 15-point deficit while Lin sat during the second half, but still came up short in Game 2.

Houston will look to pull within a game of tying the series on Saturday night.
